Internship
My internship began early in Educational Leadership program. Not only was I new to the program, I was also in only my second year of teaching. I did my internship under a principal that I admired and respected and a career and technical education supervisor that saw leadership potential in me. I realized during my internship that there was a whole lot more to be a building principal than just great communication and organizational skills. Through out my experience I realized that I still had more years of teaching ahead of me before I would want to consider seeking a principals position. My internship did open my eyes to other educational leadership potions that I was not aware of previously. I believe the most rewarding part of my internship is that it opened my eyes other options that lead me to where I am today.
